ABS INFO

Troubleshooting the ABS System:

On 1999 and Earlier models, the ABS ECU is located forward the driver fenderwell, under the Fuse/Relay center.
On the 2000 model, it's on the left side of the Radiator Crossmember (Through to 2004 Sebring/Stratus Coupes).

WARNING LIGHT CHECKS:
A) Check the brake fluid level in the reservior.
B) Verify the computer electrical connectors are secure.
C) Check the connectors at the hydraulic control unit.
D) Check the fuse(s).
E) Follow the wiring harness to each wheel and verify all connections are secure, and the length of wire is undamaged.

If you can't find the problem using the information above, then it should be serviced by an authorized repair facility.

Removing the ABS  fuse will not turn the ABS light off, as that is still a TROUBLE indication (no power to ABS ECU).
