FRONT STRUT BRACE

REAR FLOOR BAR (Alternative)

I found a V6 with a strut brace, but there is none made specifically for the V6, but this person did adapt one from somewhere.  I could not EMAIL the dude, cause I have no email address, but here is a PIC of the brace in a V6.  It is from Neuspeed, but I could not find a specific listing at their site either.
This is the original site where I found this thing. Nice lookin' compartment, 'ey?
See it along the firewall threre?  You see the bar is also mounted to the sides of the towers, not the top where most bolt on, so this must be for another make, but adapted for the Avenger.  So, there IS one out there somewhere.

Oh, there is an AEM cold air intake there, and lots of red wire-loom.  I put ELECTRIC Type AIR HORNS on mine, but mine are in the OE Locations, that is pretty unique where those ones are, nice battery, mine will be a Gell Cell pretty soon!  I tried a cool air intake as such, and it just pulled in to much water and dirt.  I went back to my open face airbox.

The update as of 12/18/2002 from Neuspeed is:  The strut brace was for the Mitsubishi Eclipse, and is no longer in production, and they do not have any back stock.  They will only produce them if there is an order from a club or group.

LOWER STRUT TIE BAR

I also found this on the web.  There were no specific instructions on how this attaches.

A Lower Front Suspension Stiffener Bar for the Dodge Avenger and Chrysler Sebring. This is also called a lower front tower bar or lower strut bar. It locks the two front suspension towers together. It GREATLY improves handling and cornering by decreasing body roll and the twisting of the uni-body in hard turns.

Although these bars were originally designed for the 1995 Avenger with the V-6 power plant, they can EASILY be modified for the I-4 and all years of A/S cars. They will also work on the 1995-2000 Eclipse with minor modification. We have not tested it but it should also work on the early Stratus and Diamontes. Please note: These bars do not reduce under-car to road clearances and do not strike speed bumps. ALL NEW Dodge, Chrysler and Mitsubishi cars now come with these lower suspension stiffeners from the factory.

There is also a REAR version for the 1995 to 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse.  They should fit on the Avenger as well.  Sample picture below
