I finally got it put in. This was MFGed for an Eclipse. Since they are the same car, practically, it would fit the Avenger and the Sebring. The person I bought it off of, said they had it on their 1996 Sebring, was a bolt on and go. I find that VERY hard to believe, because when I bolted it on, the hood wouldn't close right. The left side if the hood reinforcement was firmly hitting the bar. It would close, but the left side would stick up a little. So, I had to modify the hood a tad!

If the left side of the brace would have angled down and out like the right side, the hood probably would have closed with no problem. I still think the hood leans on the bar a little, but I haven't seen any marks yet on the heat shield or other metal. I will tweak it all later, if I see any wear marks, I will cut those small pieces out.

Well, this is what I had to do to get it to fit!

Not pretty huh? You can see it in the top right picture, if you look closely. I just took a grinder (edge) and cut the small piece out. Lots of sparks flying! I cut out as little as possible, as to not damage the integrity of the hood.

I also noticed, the STICKER on the driver side fender! Where the normal MFG stickers are, they have the MFG, VIN and all that. Looking closer, the one on the fender says REPLACEMENT, I did buy a car that was damaged!
