Total Cost..about $20 opposed to $60-$120 for a name brand setup.
Okay, essentially this just beefs up the ground system.
Claims: This gives you a smoother idle, slighty better gas mileage, a few more horses and a little more torque. That's not all, it improves the whole ground system, so all of the electronics see a benefit. At 4.97 per 47" of wire, you decide.
1) First cut the lengths of wires and attach the crimp connects to the ends.
Wire lengths:
1) 28.5" - negative battery to throttle cable
2) 15.5" - negative battery to stock ground point on driver's side
strut tower
3) 28.0" - negative battery to lower ECU bolt
4) 23.0" - throttle cable to passenger's side strut tower
5) 36.5" - passenger's side strut tower to AC compressor
optional:
1) 9.0" - factory ground strap replacement (it's on the throttle cable)
Note: Use a bench vise to crimp connectors on. While not suggested this approach, it is easy. Also make sure each connector is on good and tight.
2) Attach the wires point by point to each bolt. Remember to be careful of moving parts (the belts! and the throttle body) when running the wires, you'll want them to be secure enough so that they wont get caught.
Note: The throttle cable bolt may not be long enough. you will more than most likely need a longer one. You can use one of the bolts from the small "tray" in front of the radiator, but I'd suggest taking one (from the "tray") out and matching it up at a hardware store.
3) Double check each bolt to be sure they're all tight.
