VN 800 REAR SHOCK ADJUST
Remove the right side cover and
look inside. It's easy to get to the shock preload collar from there.
Using a long screwdriver and BIG hammer and tap the collar around to
the desired setting. It is tight, and will turn easier if you get the
rear tire up off of the ground, but it can be adjusted either way.
There are 7 possible settings on it. It comes from the factory set to
it's softest position.
