BLIND MAN
The blind man, he sits on a street with his bowl
Jack walks past him but he has to stop there cold
He's singing the song...that gave Jack his fame and fortune
He's playing the song...the very same way that Jack does
The beggar says that he ain't never gonna make it big
He's got that talent but ain't got no rig
He's just a one-armed freak...a misfit of today
He never had the 'lucky' break...that Jack had that day
BRIDGE:
He's a beggar
A man with no right to dream
A burden to us all
He's a misfit
There's no point talking to him
He can't even sing in a bar
Just a blind man
A man of no importance at all
He can never be a star
He'll die on the road
And nobody will care
That's all that's all that's all
The blind man, he sits on a street with his bowl
Jack walks past him thinking about what he's been told
He don't know that he had it all...to be a star
He just curses...and plays his guitar
