Pakistan - Quintessential Rogue State
Despite repeated acts that would label any other country a rogue state, Pakistan seems to squirm out of its bind. Maybe they
have pictures of American polititians, maybe its the CIA involvement from the Afghan campaign, or a sugar daddy somewhere in
Washington or London. Pakistan is a problem for the entire international community. If you dig around, you learn that just
about every major terrorist event in the world has Pakistan's fingerprints on it.
"Pakistan was formed as a collection, a distillate, of the most intolerant muslims of the Indian subcontinent who clamored for and got a nation by insisting that muslims could not live with non-muslims."
The propensity for terrorism starts at an early age. Here you see a young Pakistani boy at a recently anti-US rally; holding
onto a toy gun. What these kids learn in school is something else. The whole
Pakistani school curriculum seems to be centered on bashing India (the US, UK, and Israel are also on this list by
now), and trying to foster some sense of why the country exists. Add this skewed public school curriculum with the tens
of thousands of madrassahs teaching who knows what, and you start to see that the light at the end of the tunnel is starting
to get bleaker. The madrassahs are another story ...
