The following day, Sunday, we headed out again to a mountain, this time Daedunsan. A week and a day after climbing all the way with Mery, I returned with my parents, Mr. Bay and Dianna and Megan. It was another hot day, but luckily not as hot as the day before at Donghaksa. We arrived and waited for our turn on the cable car. Sue only made up to the little shops after the bridge. She waited there with Dianna while the rest our group carried on to the top. Paul said that he really enjoyed the day and the climb. It was a good day, and it was nice to see Megan and Dianna again. Plus I had a one-minute girl friend on the mountain too, but you'll have to read on to find out more about that. I hope Tiff isn't mad.
Megan because obsessed with picking flower and handing them to Sue. Every time there was a new colour, or even the same colour just growing in a different area she picked one and handed it off. Later she tried sticking them in people's hair, but they didn't stick so well, and on the drive home, after many attempts she managed to throw most of them out of the window.

Dianna, Sue, Megan and myself at the bottom of the mountain, waiting for our turn in the cable car. As I think I said before, the cable car here are a bit of an experience. Take the number of people in a car in N. America, and double it.
We ate some pag-jong while we waited to go, and Megan took the opportunity to prepare for the hike by trying on my gloves and sunglasses.
My mother and the girl just a short ways after the cable car. I think this is the same place I took my picture with Megan, back in November.

The bridge, much more crowded today, the entire mountain was. It was Sunday after all. You can see our group, minus me, left of middle, on the bridge.
Just me waiting to people to take pictures and catch up and things of that nature. People are always amused when I am on the wrong side of the rail.
The hills all here were finally fully green again. Even a week ago, they were still mostly brown, with patches of green here and there.
Paul wanted a picture with this sign...I know not why. We were waiting in line for the stair way. It was the first time I've ever had to wait in line to go up...and it was a long line too. We must have waiting for 15-20 minutes to get to the stairs and climb.

Mr. Bay, Megan and me, on the stairway.

The girl in the pink was my "one minute girl friend." While we were waiting in line for the stairway, a guy up ahead yelled back, "she loves you," and was pointing at the girl he was with. When I got to the top, I hoped the rail to where Mery and I had sat for our lunch to wait for Paul since he had stopped to take pictures. The guy and the girl were still at the top, and he told me that the girl loved me, and we talked for a little bit. I told them I had a beautiful girl friend back in Canada was going to be moving to Korea soon, so they said that was okay, the girl would just be my one minute girl friend, and hopped the rail to take a picture with me. She put her arms around my shoulders and they took a couple pictures, the a couple other people joined us for a picture or two, at which time Paul reached the top, and took this one. And so it was that for the briefest of moments I had 2 girl friends, one in Korea and one in Canada. " To wives and sweet hearts. May they never meet."

Mr. Bay on the top of the mountain. It was a little overcast, but still a beautiful.
The descent. I don't think Sue was the best equipped for mountain climbing with a dress and sandles, but she survived so who and I to judge.
And once again waiting for the cable car with Dianna and Megan, this time to go down. I like this picture, look amazingly trim and in shape. I'm not all the way down yet...but I am getting there. Hopefully by the time I get, I will actually have abs seeping through.
