This was Tiff's first hike at Gyeryong-san and she had the same introduction hike that I had here so many months ago, the three peak course. It was a good day for hiking, warm low down and nice breeze higher up. The only things I didn't like was that some of the rope areas had been removed and staircases put in their place. It made the hike a bit easier in places but I really enjoy using the ropes for steep parts. It was a good hike nevertheless and Tiff got her first view of Donghaksa when we got to the end.

Use on the high point you can go to. There is one higher peak where are communications tower/facility is located, but you can only go up there on a special holiday...New Years I think Jasmine said.

This was my reaction to looking at the temple again. I've been here so many times I decided to rest while Tiff looked around.

I actually hadn't noticed this before, and if it wasn't for Tiff I wouldn't have seen it this time either. The inscriptions are on some of the rocks that form the base of the stream that parallels the path to Donghaksa. Whether graffiti or holy messages from the monks...you be the judge.

Tiff made a comment about how messed up my hat had made my hair, and left with no mirror I decided to use the camera to investigate my do. I thought that if I added a seductive look to the picture, it would improve the overall appearance of the hair. The rest is picture making gold.
