Because of schedules, Rob and Terry couldn't meet me on Wednesday for my birthday, so we decided to go out on Friday night to celebrate. They went to dinner with some students after they finished classes, so Beth and I grabbed dinner by ourselves, then headed down to, the finally open, Beer Bar. We got there 5 minutes before everyone else. Rob and Terry, brought Julie, Jennifer (both Bub-dong teachers), Jasmine and a couple students with them. We had a good time, with drinks, cake and Champaign. I left around midnight, because I was meeting Chris the next morning, but Rob told me that they went karaokeing around 3 and got home after 5.
Beth, Rob and Terry. This was just a short while after everyone arrived.

I'm not sure who bought the birthday cake, but if you are keeping count, it's number four. It was a delicious fruit cake. Everyone sang happy birthday to me, also the fourth time I had heard that. |
We were drinking bek se-ju. Well 1/2 bek se-ju, with was mixed with soju. Bek se-ju tastes like a weak apple cider. It tastes better than soju, which can be a problem since it is stronger than soju.

This is the owner of the bar. He hasn't made any of the photo sections yet. He's about to start dancing a little and shaking the bottle, so he can spray me. I only got a little wet, but a little Champaign is sticky as hell.

There was another group of people in the bar. They might have been the couple getting married, from the "Beer Bar: The Return" photo section. I like this picture more than the posed picture. No one knew the camera was about to go off, then suddenly flash. Sex Machine is on the right, in the suit. |
I don't know why we posed with the group of Koreans we didn't know, they just wanted us to. But this is a really nice photo, I look like a giant though.
