This weekend I was suppose to head to Jirisan on Saturday night with Jasmine and her hiking club for a long hike starting in the middle of the night.  But it was raining on Saturday, and suppose to rain on Sunday, so the trip was called off.  Sadly, Sunday turned out to be a very nice day, it would have been good for a hike.  Cloudy, but nice.  I spent most of the weekend sitting at home, but by Sunday afternoon I was restless and needed to get out.  I had been told about a park near by so I went for a walk and happily to my surprise, I found quite a large part a couple blocks from my house.  It was more like a small hill for short...quite short hikes, that a traditional North American Park, but it was nice.  It only took 25 minutes or so to walk around the outer edge of it, but it was a nice way to stretch my legs.  It reminded me a lot of an area we use to play guns in, when I lived in Victoria.  I'm looking forward to seeing the place once everything turns green.

A number of paths wound around the park.  You could either climb to the top of the hill, or work our way around the hillside.  Quite a pleasant place to stroll.  I've noticed, I've turned more and more into a stroller.

Some stairs leading up to the top.

A big play structure.  I didn't play get around to playing on it...yet.

Pretty steps and a lamp I can only guess for the evening strollers.

You can see the tiny little river that Daejeon has in this picture.  It's fairly wide, but looks to be on deeper than a foot or two in more places, and is fairly polluted.

Some older houses mixed into the shiney new, area that is Samchung-Dong and Dunsan-Dong.  It's nice to see something that looks like it's been around for longer then a year or two.
