Our last full day we had planned to head to Hallim park and then to another beach near by, but we got a later start to the day, and the park ended up being a lot bigger than we expected so we just spent the day there.  There were a lot of different gardens in Hallim Park.  There was a bonsai tree garden, a water garden (ponds), and many others, plus part of the largest continuous series of lava tubes in the world.  The most striking point about the lava tubes other than their size, according to the propaganda is that we caves are one of the few lava caves in the world containing stalagmites and stalactites.  That night I went out with my tripod and took a couple night pictures around our hotel and of our hotel.  And the next morning we ran quickly out the boardwalk one last time for a couple pictures before grabbing a taxi to the airport and back home.

We were herded towards the caves straight from the entrance before moving on to the rest of the park.  This is right before the entrance to the first cave.

All of the entrances looked like something out of Indiana Jones.  We have a few different pictures of us in the entrance ways.

Inside one of the caves.  I didn't have my tripod, so pictures weren't so hot.

The bonsai garden.  There were a lot of tree between 50 and 500 years old.

These statues are the symbol of Jeju island.  The are usually close to my height...maybe a little shorter, this guy is their daddy.

We enter the water gardens.

This rock looked too cool.  And unlike the one in China it really looks like and elephant, even if it is one of the weird, slanty ones.

A nice little heart seat as you can see.  I love setting the timer, and running to get into the picture.  Turns photography in a fun little game.

Our hotel is the middle one, the Jeju Seoul Hotel.  We stayed on second floor from the top...at least I think we did, might have been third.  It was a good hotel, with soft beds, a/c, and free concerts from window.

Right next to the concert hall.  I like this.

That's the concert hall in the back.  The truck is outdoor karaoke.  I tried to persuade Tiff to sign a song since she can actually sing.  I even offered to sing with here...but that could have done more harm than good to the proposal.

In the morning before our flight.  We rushed over to the boardwalk to take a couple last pictures without people around.  There is one of with an octopus statue but this one is much better.
