Declaration on Marriage

During a time when gays and lesbians are seeking to get their “marriages” passed through so that they can have their “rights,” the leaders of the Church has issued an official declaration concerning the sanctity of marriage and how marriage is between a man and a woman and not between a man and a man or a woman and a woman.

A Testimony of Prophets

The First Presidency and the Council of Twelve Apostles have issued their Testimony of Prophets and how Jesus Christ plays the central role of the Church and of the Restoration.

The Church was officially restored on 6 April 1830 with just a handful of men who gathered. Today, we extend to all the world a true and real invitation to come and learn of that very Church of which has been restored today and again reauthorized by Jesus Christ as the very Church which he has recognized with the Priesthood, the rights, the powers, the privileges and all other things to act on behalf of Jesus Christ.

The Mission of the Church:

The Restored Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has been called upon by Jesus Christ in these last days to preach the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all the world, and to prepare and gather a people who will come in righteousness for the building up of the Kingdom of God upon the earth which is known as Zion.

From the official restoration of the Church in 1830 through the Reorganization of 1860 and today’s Reauthorization of 1999, we remain as the true and only official authorized successor of the very Church that Jesus Christ founded upon the earth in the New Testament.
