The WHS aircraft and several
private warbirds were scheduled for three flyovers. "Texas Raiders"
made the afternoon session, as well.

Vietnam Memorial Fly-over,
April 8, 2000
WHS was invited to organize
and conduct a flyover and missing-man formation during the commemorative
ceremony for the travelling Vietnam Memorial Wall during its display at
Bear Creek Park in Houston. Three Squadron aircraft (AT-6, BT-13 &
N3N) and seven other private warbirds (five T-34's, one O-2 and one Stearman
N2S) participated. A local search and rescue organization also brought
in three UH-1 "Huey" choppers which provided a real 'sound of Vietnam'
experience.
